Υπάρχουν πλέον εφαρμογές γραφείου με τις οποίες μπορείς να επεξεργαστείς πολλών ειδών αρχείων, συμπεριλαμβανομένων Word, Excel κλπ.
Για παράδειγμα μια τέτοιου είδους εφαρμογή είναι η Office2 HD (http://www.bytesquared.com/products/office/ipad) της εταιρείας byte squared.
Μέσω της συγκεκριμένης εφαρμογής μπορείς να αποθηκευσεις και αρχεία μέσα στο iPad σε ειδικό χώρο που δεσμευεται από την ίδια την εφαρμογή. Τα αρχεία αυτά μετά μπορείς να τα μεταφέρεις μέσω του iTunes στον υπολογιστή σου, μέσω του μενού Apps.
