είναι απλά ένας άλλος τρόπος να δουλεύουμε το λειτουργικό μας δηλαδή με γραμμή εντολών
Το DOS είναι λειτουργικό σύστημα και συνυπήρχε με τα Windows μέχρι την έκδοση Windows 95 στην τελευταία του έκδοση MS DOS v7
Αν χρειάζεσαι DOS μέσα στα windows ο πιό εύκολος τρόπος για να το αποκτήσεις είναι το DOSBOX (http://www.dosbox.com/) ο οποίος έιναι DOS x86 emulator και είναι ΔΩΕΑΝ και πολύ αξιόπιστος.
Αν πάλι θέλεις να εγκαταστήσεις λειτουργικό σύστημα dos τότε μπορείς να κατεβάσεις το επίσης ΔΩΡΕΑΝ Freedos (http://www.freedos.org/)

Αν εννοείς να φέρεις όλον τον υπολογιστή σου σε περιβάλλον MS-DOS… δεν γνωρίζω 😉
